ABOUT ME AND THE PROJECT
I'm an indie video game developer trying to publish my first video game. Although it started as a small project, Pocket Vampire Girl is the result of a year’s worth of work and I’m still working on it.
This game puts you in charge of a VampiGirl, a vampire of mysterious origins. It combines virtual pet mechanics with a horror aesthetic. Your goal will be to take care of the VampiGirl and keep her alive while you try to control her evil instincts.
The project is a hobby of mine as a programmer and an amateur pixel art artist, I do not intend to receive compensation of any kind and for that reason it will be available free of charge, without advertising or microtransactions for all those who want to try it.

In which platforms will it be available?
The game was designed mainly for Android -since it incorporates the touch screen in many of its mechanics-.
The first beta of the game is available on itch.io. Later versions will be available for free download on Google's Play Store.
A version for Windows and Linux -using the cursor and keyboard- is in the works but will be released later on.
An iOS version is not planned yet due to engine incompatibilities and high prices to publish in its app store.
Is the game 18+?
Probably the most asked question. The answer is No, although the game will contain mild fanservice and blood, everything is softened given the pixel art graphics and the need to adapt to the policies of the app stores. Even so,I recommend avoiding it if you are uncomfortable with these topics.
How is the game made?
The game is made in the Godot engine using the GDScript language.
The game's graphics were created using Aseprite.
Why the stupid name?
I wanted the name to be self-descriptive and easy to find in app stores for those looking for vampire games, or girl games, or vampire girl games.
It's probably not the most original option but at this point I couldn't think of another name.
Can I donate to the project?
As I mentioned before, the project is a hobby and I don't need money for now.
